Not able to attend the Safelite Challenge but still want to participate? Create a My Local Safelite Challenge!

Markets and departments can organize their own My Local Safelite Challenge. While we would love to have everyone join us in Las Vegas, we know it's just not possible. To help you feel included, we are working with local management to create your very own event. You'll still need to help fundraise to support Afrika Tikkun - and your fundraising will still count towards your department's goals. And most importantly, we'll add your fundraising to the amount we take to the Spirit of Belron Challenge.

How to get started?

Once you have some ideas of the type of event you would like to have, contact either or to share your idea. We'll help where we can, provide additional information or even help with finding event shirts (if available).

Then you can get busy planning and publicizing it. We have a mini-poster that you can use to let your team know about it. Download it here.

Once you have people ready to register, have them visit to get registered. Make sure to have them select "My Local Safelite Challenge" as their event. While the basic registration has a minimum commitment of $25, each event may have a higher commitment amount (depending on what the event offers). Once someone registers we'll reach out to confirm the event.

What kinds of events can you create?

A 1k, 3k, or 5k are probably the easiest event to create - but get creative! We have 2 local events already planned. See contact details for each of them if you are interested in joining.

  • The 5 contact centers are hosting a 1 mile walk on the Safelite Mile at each of the contact centers on Saturday, March 28, 2020. The events will occur at 10:00 am local time at each location.
    • Fundraising commitment is $25 - and includes a Safelite Challenge event shirt. Additional incentives will be offered for higher fundraising - including a chance to win a trip to the 2021 Safelite Challenge.
    • Contact a job coach or any member of the contact center management to get more details.
  • The Dallas market is hosting a motorcycle ride in the Rapid City/Sturgis, South Dakota area on August 30-September 2, 2020. Additionally, there are other local attractions (such as mountain biking, ATV riding and hiking) that can be booked independently for those not riding motorcycles.
    • Fundraising commitment is $1000 per rider - and includes 3 nights of accommodation at the Canyon Lake Resort near Rapid City.
    • Participants may drive their own motorcycle to the event (at their own expense) or may rent from Eagle Rider in Rapid City (at their own expense).
    • Some groups are planning to drive in as a team - so we may be able to help you find someone to drive in with.
    • Registration deadline is June 30, 2020. Cancellation must occur by May 30, 2020 or you may be held to your fundraising commitment.
